Hurricane Katrina Relief

The donation by WorldWater & Power Corp and NAI Global of our Mobile MaxPure™ unit was mentioned in an article entitled “Alternative Energy Powers Up the Coast” in the current issue of Pointe Innovation magazine, published by the Mississippi Technology Alliance. The link to the article on the Mississippi Technology Alliance website is http://www.technologyalliance.ms/pointe-innovation/view.php?entryID=391.

The entire issue of Pointe Innovation, the only magazine in Mississippi devoted solely to technology and innovation, focuses on a single topic: Rebuilding Mississippi.

As Tony Jeff, Chief Operating Officer of the Mississippi Technology Alliance, explains:
“When planning our Winter 2005 issue, it seemed appropriate for the magazine to reflect the single-mindedness we all feel after Hurricane Katrina. Now months after the storm, helping our neighbors along the Gulf Coast and far inland recover is still the main topic of conversation at dinner tables, business meetings and coffee shops throughout Mississippi. We asked our writers to avoid rehashing the facts you already know about Hurricane Katrina and focus instead on the ways that Mississippians are using technology, for recovery and for renewal.”

Some of you may find other articles in the issue interesting as well, using the links at http://www.technologyalliance.ms/pointe-innovation/latest-issue.php .
