WorldWater & Solar Technologies to Participate in Global Water Symposium

PENNINGTON, N.J., May 15, 2007 (PRIME NEWS WIRE)

WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. (OTC BB:WWAT.OB-News), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today announced that it will participate in The Blue Salon, a two-day symposium devoted to the state of the world's waters. Scheduled for June 16 & 17, 2007, the Blue Salon will take place at the House of Sweden in Washington, DC, hosted by Mr. Gunnar Lund, the Ambassador of Sweden. Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman & CEO, and Anand Rangarajan, Executive Vice President, will present to the conference on the company's work in the area of solar-powered water solutions and then participate in sessions designed to discuss new technologies that may answer the world's current and future water problems.

"This is a unique opportunity to present WorldWater's capabilities in addressing the critical water supply issues facing humanity," stated Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman and CEO. "The need for locating and distributing clean sources of water is rapidly requiring new, innovative solutions – particularly given the impact of climate change on the world's oceans and other bodies of water. Our high-powered energy pumps and patented solar systems have already been successful in bringing water on a sustainable basis to individuals in some of the most remote places on earth. We look forward to playing a role in this very important symposium.''
