WorldWater & Solar Technologies Announces Retirement of CEO

Based on discussions with The Quercus Trust and EMCORE Corp., two of WorldWater's (OTC BB:WWAT.OB-News), principal stockholders, and in order to accomplish an orderly succession, Quentin T. Kelly has decided to retire his position of chief executive officer effective March 20, 2008, or on such later date as the Company's board of directors appoints a successor chief executive officer. The board of directors will meet on March 20, 2008 to, among other things, consider appointing an interim chief executive officer. Mr. Kelly will continue as the Company's non-executive chairman of the board.
